An actors lot is never done...and as I live by my job, I'm being as creative as I can ...

I've been writing furiously and have managed to put together a short play for stage in the form of (and most of my UK friends will know this reference) STILL GAME meets LINE OF DUTY...

This hour long comedy is called " THE STAKEOUT" and it's following the conversations between two cops sitting in an (old) unmarked police car keeping observations on a known criminal and his cohorts. CALLUM and ALLY must play out their time hoping that something , other than the mundane lives of their quarry, leads to some excitement before they expire into the ether of boredom...

With a view to performance in spring next year and hopefully a wee trip to the Edinburgh fringe...the clock is ticking...

Come and see myself and DUNCAN AIRLIE JAMES (Jingle-Jangle, Tomb Raider) try and set the world straight in an hour long show.

River City Promo

As an Actor I am quite familiar with a camera. Not just in front of a camera, but also behind a camera I feel quite at home. Proof of this is in the pictures you can now buy online.

For best effects I'd advise to have the picture printed on canvas, this gives a great result and makes the pictures stand out in your room.

As an experienced Tour guide I have been asked to create simple and easy-to-follow Tours of Scotland and with my website team we have put the first tour of Glasgow online.

The Glasgow Tour takes you, on foot, through Glasgow City Centre and shows you many iconic locations of Glasgow. You can take the Tour any time of the year as it's available all year long. 

If you like sunny weather, then take the tour in the Summer time, but as Christmas is drawing near, the tour can also be a great way to see Glasgow in Christmas time with all the beautiful lights and special things that people arrange.

River City, the long running BBC TV Series, set in West-Scotland, has seen me, John Walker, acting in three episodes, Episode 25.45, Episode 25.49 and Episode 25.56. In a role as DC Allen, a role that was very near to my old Police heart as I was quite familiar with Police work from the 22 years I have worked as a Police Officer in Scotland. So back to the old job actually. :)

The Collies Shed 

In August I was back on The Fringe in Edinburgh playing on Stage with " The Collies Shed" a production by Shelley Midler. This production was on Stage in 2023 as well and received numerous 4 and 5 Star reviews.

All Shook Up 

Cast as Sheriff Earl in the stage production of "All Shook Up" by Joe Dipietro.

All Shook Up is based upon original Elvis Presley songs but the story is all new and depicts a farce that will have you sitting on the tip of your chair laughing out loud and singing along with many known Elvis songs.

This production was originally listed to appear in local theaters in October 2023 but due to some technical issues had to be postponed to February 2024. 

Jack & Sara

Jack, a scruffy, unshaven middle-aged man wanders through a Glasgow park feeding birds. A young woman, Sara, sits on a bench, busily making plans on her mobile phone. Jack sits next to her and pulls out a pack of sandwiches. He slides one of the sandwiches over to Sara, asking her if she wants it. The young lady is clearly taken aback by this and goes on the offensive, saying she has no money, as clearly she reasons this is what he is looking for. Sara explains she is busy and reveals she wants to be an actress.

Death's Door

Death is putting up her " Door " across various locations during her work, but after a few visits Death's car unexpectedly breaks down in the Scottish countryside, she crosses paths with The Farmer, a man riddled with regrets who opens up to her as they journey across the rural landscape together.

Anna & The Apocalypse

A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.
